Charlotte GilkeyHola! My name is Charlotte and I just finished my first year at the University of Minnesota where I am studying Spanish and Political Science. I found out about La Senda my senior year of high school through my Spanish teacher! I had so much fun at camp last summer that I just had to come back. I am going on my 13th year speaking Spanish now and I have truly found passion in the language and helping others through my linguistics abilities. I am SO excited for camp this summer and eager to help campers make core memories associated with Spanish so that they can learn to love it as much as I do!
Shay Ginuga¡Hola, soy Shay! I graduated from EPHS in 2021 and am currently studying Business and International Studies at the University of Michigan. I grew up learning Spanish in school and have continued to study it in college. I love working with students from all Spanish levels and camp is such a fun place to work on Spanish!
Alix McNuttHola! My name is Alix. This is my second year with La Senda, and I'm so excited to start the summer! I was in Spanish immersion from kindergarten to my senior year of high school, and I'm continuing Spanish classes in college.
Evy NoahHola! My name is Evy and this fall I am going to be a senior at Minnetonka High School. I started learning Spanish in kindergarten in Alexandria, VA and then continued learning Spanish through Minnetonka's immersion program. I love how Spanish brings people together and I love sharing that with everyone at camp! This is my second summer at La Senda and I am so excited to see some familiar faces and meet new campers while making Spanish fun!!
Audra TreburgHola me llamo Audra! I graduated from Minnetonka High School and am currently a sophomore at the University of British Columbia. I learned Spanish through the Spanish immersion program at Minnetonka, where my passion for the Spanish language and culture grew alongside my passion for helping kids build their love and enjoyment of Spanish. I have been working for La Senda since the very beginning and every year my love for creating a space where kids can have fun, learn and create their own passion for language has only grown more and more!
Brittany UittenbogaardHola me llamo Brittany! I am a senior at Minnetonka High School and have grown up in the Spanish Immersion program since kindergarten. I love speaking Spanish and being able to teach kids what I know in a fun way!

Giana Anderson¡Hola! My name is Giana and I go to the Minnetonka high school and I am going into 10th grade. I have done Spanish since preschool and am now in high-school and I took an AP Spanish course this last school year and I'm continuing my learning with Spanish in other courses the rest of my high school career. I'm passionate about Spanish because it's so awesome to know another language because it can open so many doors for you now and in the future. There is also so much culture in Spanish speaking countries that is so cool to learn about. I'm passionate about La Senda because I can share my passion about Spanish to others to grow the language and create a bigger community.
Kayla Delaria¡Hola! My name is Kayla and I'm going into 10th grade at Minnetonka High School. I've been in Minnetonka's Spanish Immersion program since kindergarten. I love Spanish because the culture is amazing and I love the ability to communicate in another language and La Senda gives me the ability to inspire kids in this same way.
Amy FosterMy name is Amy and I just finished my second year at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario where I am studying Biology and Environmental Studies. I started learning Spanish in kindergarten as part of the Spanish Immersion program at Minnetonka where I have met some of my best friends. I love Spanish because it enhances my ability to be able to meet so many different and amazing people who come from different backgrounds that I would probably not have met if it wasn't for the immersion program, including hosting an exchange student from Spain. I am passionate about LaSenda because I love sharing my passions with others and this is one way that I can share my passion for Spanish with others and hope to inspire younger kids to continue learning Spanish.
Lilly Gundecha9th grade MHS. I learned Spanish throughout my elementary school Clear Springs. I'm passionate about Spanish because I get to experience different cultures. I love working at La Senda and am so happy to be back this year, the kids and staff are all a joy.
Lauren JohnsonI go to MMW and I'm in 8th grade and in the following year I will be going to the Minnetonka High School. I started learning Spanish when I was in kindergarten and I have done it every year and will continue it in the high school. I'm passionate about Spanish because you are able to learn about a different culture and you are able to communicate with different people.
Addie KatanicHello! my name is Addie and i go to minnetonka high-school! I will be going into my junior year this upcoming fall and have been in the spanish immersion program at my school since kindergarten! I'm passionate about Spanish for many reasons, one being that I love to experience and learn about the culture! I'm so excited to be working at La Senda because i love working with kids and it's such a positive environment to be in!!
Jackie LoftusI go to school at Breck and learned Spanish from Deephaven immersion elementary school and take advanced Spanish classes. I have a strong love and passion for Spanish since I have been immersed in the culture my whole life and have grown a strong bond with Spanish. I am passionate about La Senda because I want to spread the love I have for Spanish to other kids because I believe Spanish is an important and fun language that I hope more kids can lear to love.
Luci PenteadoHi, I'm Luci I am a student at MHS and a part of the class of 2028. I learned Spanish through the immersion program and Spanish has been so fun to learn and now I can speak with people from all around the world when I travel. I am so grateful to be on the La Senda team so I can teach the next generation how to communicate in Spanish.
Madison RodgersI will be starting my freshman year at Minnetonka High School. I have been in Spanish immersion through school since kindergarten. I love being able to communicate in another language. Spanish is fun and I enjoy sharing it with others. La Senda will allow me to share my love for Spanish, bring fun and excitement to kids this summer and make tons of memories
Lila SwedllundI went to Clear Springs Elementary School and Minnetonka Middle School West, and will be a freshman at Minnetonka High School in the fall. I have been in the Spanish immersion program in Minnetonka since kindergarten. I love La Senda because it has two of my favorite things, Spanish and kids!

Vera BallardI go to school at Minnetonka high school and I am class of 2026! I learned, and am continuing to learn, to speak Spanish through minnetonka public schools in a Spanish immersion program that I started in kindergarten. I am passionate about Spanish because my grandma grew up in Mexico City and I love and am fascinated with Latin American culture. Lastly, I am passionate about being a part of the La Senda team because I want to teach others about the Spanish language and culture because it is so fun and interesting to learn!
Ani DirksI go to school at Eden Prairie High School. I am going to be a junior next year. I have been learning Spanish since I was two and have been in an immersion schooling program my whole life. I am passionate about Spanish because I love the doors that it opens for me and how many more people I can communicate with since I can speak and understand Spanish. I am passionate about La senda because I want kids to love learning, speaking, and using Spanish as much as I do.
Charlotte FranksHola! I'm Charlotte. I am a sophomore at Holy Family and have speaking Spanish since kindergarten. Spanish has been such a big part in my life as I have learned it ever since I was little. I love being at camp and helping kids grow in their Spanish speaking skills. It's so fun making memories with the kids and I can't wait for another year of camp!!
Maya HaugenHi, I'm Maya, I'm a rising junior at Orono High school, and I learned Spanish both at home and through my school. I am passionate about Spanish because learning and understanding new languages is extremely beneficial, both in communication and in expanding your mind. I am passionate about La Senda, because getting to help kids on their Spanish journey, and teaching them to love Spanish and language while having fun at the same time, is such an incredible opportunity.
Kate JosephsonHi my name is Kate I went to Minnetonka Middle School West and am going into 9th grade. I started learning Spanish in kindergarten at Clear Springs. I'm very passionate about learning Spanish because it gives you so many opportunities like talking to new people. Gia KlobucarHola! My name is Gia and next fall I will be attending Minnetonka High School as a 9th grader. I learned Spanish through the immersion programs at the elementary schools and have continued to study it throughout elementary and middle school, and hope to continue it at the high school. I am passionate about Spanish because it helps you to be in touch with another culture. You get to learn about different countries, people, and places. I love working at La Senda because it's amazing to be in such a caring and nurturing environment for kids to learn Spanish. It's always so fun because even as a counselor I get to meet new people and make new friends. The kids are always so amazing and it's so fun to see them learn and grow in the language and as people.
Kaili McNutt I go to Minnetonka High School, I am class of 2026. I learned Spanish, and am continuing to through the Minnetonka Immersion Program. I am fascinated with traveling, and it has been amazing to learn another language from another part of the world. I am passionate about La Senda because I want to share the same joy to other kids that I have received while learning Spanish.
Addie PerkinsI go to Lakeville South High School - class of 2025. 4 years of Spanish in high school thus far. I love learning about other cultures and find it really interesting. I love kids and wish I would have learned Spanish at a younger age so I am excited to help them on their Spanish journey.
Sara ThrappHola! My name is Sara and I am going to be a junior at Eden Prairie High School this fall! I grew up speaking Spanish with my family and i am taking it in school as well. I love encouraging more kids to learn the language and am passionate about sharing different Spanish cultures and incorporating it with fun activities at La Senda!
Autumn UelandHola! I'm Autumn Ueland, this is my fourth summer working at La Senda. This fall I will be a freshman at Minnetonka High School. I have been in Spanish immersion since kindergarten and continue to be in it. I love Spanish and teaching it to kids because I can connect with so many more people and help them grow.

Joshua BridgeI will be a freshman at Minnetonka Highschool in September 2024, and I have been in Spanish immersion since kindergarten. I am passionate about Spanish because I think that it's a great language and that is has a great culture. I am passionate about La Senda, because I believe that it is important to get kids to learn to love the culture and language just as I do.

Andrew GoodierI'm going to be a 9th grader at MHS next fall and for me personally, knowing Spanish has opened up a room of opportunities. I'm excited to be working with elementary schoolers in La Senda to teach the next generation this incredible language that I've known since a young age.

I am passionate about Spanish and La senda because it gives me opportunities to connect with kids that I wouldn't have otherwise!
Mikala KangasHola! I'm going into 11th grade at Minnetonka High School next fall. I've been in Spanish immersion since kindergarten and plan to continue through high school. I love speaking Spanish and being able to communicate and connect with another culture, and La Senda is a great experience being able to work with kids and help them love Spanish too!

Alexa MurphyMy name is Alexa Murphy and I am a recent college graduate from Bethel University. I started learning Spanish in high school and had a minor during college. I spent last summer abroad living in Guatemala serving and learning Spanish! I am passionate about Spanish because I love the process of language acquisition and believe it is a great way to connect with others! I want to share my passion for Spanish with kids and come alongside them in their language journeys here at La Senda!
Maia NelsonI go to Holy Family Catholic high school and I am going into 10th grade. I was in Spanish immersion since kindergarten and now I take Spanish classes. I love speaking Spanish because it gives me opportunities to talk to other people who only speak Spanish. I am passionate about La Senda because I love kids and I think it's a great way for them to continue practicing their Spanish over the summer.
Olivia RindahlHola, soy Olivia! I'm a freshman at Minnetonka High School (I'll be a sophomore in the fall). Before going to Minnetonka High School I went to Clear Springs High School and then Minnetonka Middle School West. Since kindergarten I have been enrolled in the immersion program in Minnetonka. I love watching children develop their love of speaking Spanish and encouraging them along their journey! I am very passionate about La Senda and its mission of discovering the path to learning and loving Spanish.
Isabella TobinHola! My name is Isabella and I am a rising freshman at the University of Notre Dame. I was a part of the Spanish Immersion Program in the Minnetonka School District from kindergarten through graduation, and through this, I got to study abroad in Chile. I've loved learning Spanish because it provides me with the opportunity to connect with more people and I am so excited to help kids develop a passion and love for Spanish this summer!
